Founded in 2016 as House of Design, House of Design Rentals was born from a vision to elevate Atlanta’s short-term rental market with true design expertise and authentic Southern hospitality.

With over 27 years of combined experience in interior design, staging, new construction design, and project management across more than $3 billion in residential and commercial projects, Tamra and her House of Design Team have built a reputation transforming spaces into dream experiences. After years of seeing stunning homes sit underused and generic rentals fail to capture Atlanta’s spirit, she saw an opportunity to create something truly special.

“Atlanta is a city full of character and hospitality,” Tamra says. “But so much of that was missing from short-term rentals. I wanted to create a brand that reflects our city’s best, creativity, design excellence, and generous spirit—while also giving property owners a way to see their homes cared for, elevated, and appreciated.”

Driven by her lifelong passion for design and an innate talent for transforming spaces, Tamra envisioned more than just places to stay—she wanted to share the authentic warmth, culture, and style of Atlanta with every visitor.
